about 10 seconds after this shot was taken, the camera, lens, tripod, and photographer got soaked by the oncoming storm pictured here. The wind gusts, and sudden downpour is a common occurance during the sunset hours in thailand during the wet season. I seriously believed i had enough time to get under roof the minute i felt that light forewarning drizzle, this storm did not carry any drizzle or any sort of warning. just a sudden gust and whoosh im caught under a storm. Camera and lens i’m thankful to say made it fine.

shot at the end of one of Suvarnabhumi International Airport’s massive terminals. A major Asian hub, the biggest i’ve seen at least, and it is a total architectural masterpiece! These huge sphere-shaped thoroughways hold space for a major duty free mall packed with all kinds of designer shops from Armani to Gucci to Fendi to Prada. All empty mind you, but at least you can gawk at the pricey watches and purses. Lots of places to eat here as well and there’s nice massage parlor if you ever need a foot massage (which is typical of thailand)
